The Gentle Gunman: Review
Mills and Bogarde deliver first-rate performances in this subtle pro-British look at Irish terrorism. With action shifting between London and Belfast, revolutionary Mills decides that the violent nationalistic spirit of his fellow rebels is not the right way. He gives up the fight and tries to convince brother Bogarde to do the same but is accused of being a traitor. In the end both brothers renounce their loyalty to the IRA.
