Gentle Giant: Review

The "Gentle Giant" of the title is a big, friendly bear, which 7-year-old Mark Wedloe (Clint Howard) and his parents (Dennis Weaver and Vera Miles) befriend and come to own, much to their neighbors' horror. After a number of adventures with the lovable and curious bear, Mark leads Ben back to the wilds and frees him, but their farewell is only temporary in this sweet movie. This film later spawned the television series "Gentle Ben." leave a comment
