Ford is a television writer married to Broadway star Reynolds in this amusing black comedy. A blackmailer shows up with pictures of an unclothed Reynolds, posed during her leaner days (financially, not physically). Ford decides that murder is the only way to take care of the situation. He hides the body where his new gazebo is to be placed. But it turns out that the blackmailer is found dead somewhere else, and Ford doesn't know who is buried in the backyard. Reynolds sings "Something Called Love" (Walter Kent, Walton Farrar). Helene Rose earned an Oscar nomination for her costume design. leave a comment
