As a man who loves his greyhound more than anything in the world, Pickles devotes himself totally to grooming it for the track. But when he goes out of town and discovers a competitor with a better chance of winning, he bets against his own dog. Comic situations abound but fall far short in the execution, which is surprising coming from eminently competent director Elvey. leave a comment
