Garden Of The Dead

Some prison inmates get high on formaldehyde and go into a violent frenzy that results in the guards' being forced to kill them. You can't keep a con down, however, and the deceased prisoners rise from the dead, raid the prison tool shed (where the gardening implements are kept), and arm themselves to wreak vengeance on the cruel guards who killed them. A low-budget effort with zero production value or originality, this film was obviously an attempt to capitalize on the reputation and popularity of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Rent PRISON (1988) instead.
