In this sequel to 1973's WESTWORLD, it is three years later, and investigative reporters Fonda and Danner are looking over the revamped futuristic theme park Delos. They meet Hill, the director of Futureworld, and stumble onto his plot to replace all world leaders with look-alike robots.
Brynner has a small cameo, reprising his role from the first film. Although not so clever or original as its predecessor, FUTUREWORLD is effective. Some location shooting at NASA facilities is used particularly well. Both Fonda and Danner give
strong performances.
