Sometime in that post-apocalyptic near future so beloved of low-budget filmmakers, a small group of fraternity pledges go off to a deserted section of the city to kidnap one of a large group of punk rockers who have occupied the area as a protest against nuclear weapons. They witness one of the punkers, Neal, murdering someone with a horrible claw. He keeps the claw hidden beneath armor that covers radiation burns he suffered in a laboratory accident. The frat boys are seen, and for the rest of the picture Neal and his equally nefarious cohorts pursue them. Blood galore and a thin overlay of social criticism serve no purpose but to sate juvenile blood lust and to take people's money. leave a comment
