Funny Bones

Dedicated to the premise that comedy isn't funny -- except when it is -- FUNNY BONES follows the dark, sentimental journey of failed comedian Tommy Fawkes (Oliver Platt). The son of world-famous funny man George Fawkes (Jerry Lewis), Tommy bombs in Vegas and flees to the down-at-the-heels English seaside resort of Blackpool, where he spent an early childhood he remembers as idyllic. Needless to say, it's teeming with grim secrets -- including Tommy's half brother, Jack (Lee Evans), a natural if somewhat scary comic -- that lead Tommy to a series of revelations about his father and himself.
