Lucille Ball stars as the title door-to-door salesgirl who gets tangled up in a murder. Forced to flee the cops, she and her boy friend (Eddie Albert) go on the lam. Lots of slapstick, plenty of chases, and some of the great comic bits that are Ball's specialty. Albert does a fine job as
her not-too-bright beau, and Red Skelton makes a brief appearance as an in-joke reference to his own film, THE FULLER BRUSH MAN.
