1938, Movie, NR, 63 mins

Aspiring actor Albertson is hired to be a stooge for film star Page. When big shot Hicks is murdered in a night club, Albertson is thought to be the killer. Innocent of the charges, he goes into hiding with his studio-publicist girl friend Lynn. Then he is exonerated when Page is arrested for the murder. Some interesting behind-the-scenes glimpses at a film studio but pretty much routine. Script gives no hint of what Trumbo was to become. leave a comment
