A coldly directed picture that fails on just about all levels. Stevens, who in his experiments freezes living creatures, persuades his girl friend to run the tests on him. During the experiment, while he is immobilized, his ex-wife is killed. Naturally, he is suspected, but his rock-solid alibi gets him off the hook. In the film's attempt at suspense, the emotionally shaken girl friend struggles to carry on with the testing and to revive her chilly lover when the cops arrive to question Stevens. Produced in Germany in 1964, though not released in England until 1967, at a slim 63 minutes. leave a comment
