A dreadful sequel to BREAD, LOVE, AND DREAMS, this uses the same setting and the same characters but without expanding on the farcical nature of the original, or even capturing the same flavor. Middle-aged De Sica gets himself into hot water with Merlini when she thinks he is fooling
around with Lollobrigida. He isn't, of course, and unfortunately his efforts to prove his innocence just are not amusing. A thoroughly disappointing effort.
