One Frightened Night

Mascot Pictures was mainly engaged in producing serials, but the company sometimes created features, and ONE FRIGHTENED NIGHT is one of its better efforts. Based on a story by Stuart Palmer, author of the Hildegarde Withers mystery novels, this mystery-comedy stars Grapewin as Jasper Whyte, a wealthy old man who gathers his relatives together to hear a reading of his will. The relatives all stand to profit substantially, provided Jasper's long lost granddaughter isn't found.
