A gardener (Corrigan) posing as a millionaire offers to finance a show put on by Tucker, but Tucker discovers he's a fraud. The quickly made film (five days) contains all the stereotyped characters usually involved in backstage musicals, including a dizzy singer (Margaret Whiting) and a girl who is just in awe of all the goings-on. The original title dated the film too much for all save nostalgists, so when the film was re-released its overripeness was concealed with this new title.
