This strange little French farce concerns a young couple who are forbidden to marry because their parents are constantly feuding. Enter French nightclub sensation Baker (a bit past her prime), who lives in the apartment house owned by the boy's father and sees that the young lovers' plans to marry are carried through. Baker, of course, takes time to sing and dance her way through "To Live Alone under One Roof" and "No Nina." leave a comment
