A cheap spinoff of GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, THE FRENCH LINE is strictly a vehicle for Jane Russell. Here she plays Mary Carson, a Texas heiress who desperately wants to be loved, not for her millions, but for her own voluptuous self.
