Amusing comedy about Ohio inventor Cummings, who travels to Washington, DC, to get a patent on his latest creation--making gasoline from plain water. Once he arrives in Washington, Cummings finds himself entangled in the usual bureaucratic red tape until kindly government employee Kilbride offers him a place to stay. Cummings is then exposed to a strange house with more bizarre contraptions than he's ever seen. But love springs eternal, and he falls for Kilbride's daughter, Blyth. leave a comment
