Clint Walker, star of the short-lived "Cheyenne" television series, made his movie debut in FORT DOBBS, a slow-actioned western. An accused murderer, Walker escapes his lynchers by trading coats with a man he finds dead with an arrow in his back. He comes upon a farm owned by Mayo, and
rescues her and her son, Eyer, from raiding Commanches. Walker takes the two to Fort Dobbs, and, on the way, Mayo recognizes Walker's coat as that of her husband's. She mistakes the arrow hole for a bullet hole, and concludes that Walker murdered her mate. Meanwhile, Keith has a sackful of
