Fort Bowie

Johnson's performance is the most exciting element of this familiar cowboy and Indian western. Johnson is in strong opposition to commanding officer Taylor after the latter massacres a band of Indians who were eager to surrender. Johnson then draws Taylor's wrath when the commander's bored wife falsely accuses him of trying to seduce her. She remains loyal to her husband, however, standing by his side during an Indian attack which results in both their deaths.
