Intrigued by his father's memories of Jewish colleagues in the Iraqi Communist Party, Swiss-Iraqi filmmaker Samir decided to take his camera to Israel and find out what became of them. While Samir's quest didn't lead to anyone who knew his father, he was lucky enough to meet four very different men who shared similar histories. Like Samir's father, Shimon Ballas, Samir Naqqash, Moshe Houri and Sami Michael are Jewish and grew up in Iraq.
