When Galland dies mysteriously, Mitchum, who once worked for him, decides to unravel his mysterious past. He travels to Vienna and learns Galland was a tycoon blackmailer, but the proof of his nefarious past is shrouded with the death of an informant, whose killer appears to be Page, Galland's widow.
