One-time commercial pilot Arlen joins the air corps of a South Seas island, finding himself up against a malevolent politico (Asther) and secretly in love with his girl (Gabor). Asther also happens to be the head of the air corps and, to get rid of the competition, sends Arlen on a suicide run which ends in a dogfight between the two.
