A familiar and poorly handled mystery set on a transcontinental flight to New York with a group of kidnapers on board. After spending 15 years in the lock-up, Aylesworth is placed in danger by his fellow conspirators, who have been waiting to get their hands on a hidden ransom. The forced
landing of the title occurs during a treacherous storm which keeps the cast stranded in a less-than- comfortable farmhouse. Not mysterious enough for a movie coscripted by a newspaperman, William Boehnel, who at the time also was a film critic.
