Quillan's a show biz performer who meets Basquette when she tries to sell him a prop duck in a theatrical supply store. Instead, he sells her half his act, and the two become a dance team. Of course they become romantically involved as well. The pair are given their big chance at a Broadway revue, but after arguing over some trivial point, Basquette takes a walk.
