Beyond The Fog

Originally released in Britain in 1972 as HORROR ON SNAPE ISLAND, this film was rereleased in the US in 1981 as BEYOND THE FOG, an attempt to capitalize on the success of John Carpenter's THE FOG (1980). After a young American woman appears to have gone mad and killed her companions on Snape Island, which is rumored to contain a fortune in buried treasure, a private investigator (Bryant Halliday) and a team of archaeologists (there is a Phoenician temple on the island) visit the scene to investigate.
