Title refers to the train driven by Marriott, a longtime engineer who's made an enemy out of fellow employee Hurley by reporting the latter's drunkenness to higher-ups. Hurley decides to reap his vengeance against the engineer on Marriott's last day before retirement by seeing that the train crashes.
