Flowers In The Attic

A stilted film adaptation of the bizarre V.C. Andrews' novel, the film looks at teenageers Cathy (Kristy Swanson) and Chris (Jeb Stuart Adams) and their younger siblings (Ben Ganger and Lindsay Parker). After their father is suddenly killed, their mother, Corinne (Victoria Tennant) is forced to go begging at her rich parents' door. Disinherited because her parents did not approve of her marriage, Corinne is determined to win back her invalid father's love and inherit his wealth.
