Proof that an animal alone cannot carry a picture. Florian, a beautiful white Lippizan stallion, is the fondly groomed companion of stable boy Young. Time passes and the boy-horse relationship goes through a variety of strains. After saving Young's life at war, the critter is shipped to the US to pull a junk cart.
