Keel, an innocent man convicted of murder, escapes with a fellow con during a flood, and befriends the marooned Heywood. Initially she is frightened by his threats to kill the man who framed him, but gathers enough courage to contact the police and inform them of his innocence. Heywood is a joy to watch as she stands up to the impending aquatic doom. leave a comment
