Romantic musical starring Novarro as a Mexican singing star trying to win the affections of convent girl Jordan. Adoree plays a Spanish dancer in love with the dashing Latin singer from afar. Average, lackluster screenplay is helped somewhat by a standout musical sequence shot in
Technicolor. This was to be Adoree's last film; she died in 1933 at the age of 35 after a long battle with tuberculosis. Songs include: "Just For Today," "Not Quite Good Enough For Me" (Herbert Stothart, Clifford Grey); "Lonely" (Stothart, Grey, Novarro).
