Quinn, an alcoholic Indian, starts a PR campaign for native American rights. His girl friend, Winters, is a madame, so he's continually feuding with the police sergeant, French. Quinn begins destroying bulldozers and hijacking trains, and he lassos a police helicopter, justifying
everything by old Indian treaties. This ludicrous comedy did nothing for the cause of the American Indian. Warner Brothers kept the film in a vault for 18 months before releasing it; too bad it didn't have a chance to decay. FLAP got its just reward, though, by becoming a $6-million flop.
