The Flame: Review

A contrived melodrama with Carroll plotting to get his sick brother's fortune. The brother, Paige, is only supposed to live for a couple of months, so Carroll has his girl friend, Ralston, marry him to inherit the money. She falls in love with Paige and nurses him back to health. A blackmailer steps onto the scene and threatens to reveal Ralston's original intentions. Carroll, trying to redeem himself, gets in a fatal shootout with the blackmailer. leave a comment
