An unoriginal crime film involving a man charged with a small-town mayor's murder. The fingerprints that are the main evidence against the man turn out to be faked. In the end, we find that the police commissioner was the one who had the motive and the know-how to kill the mayor and fake
the prints. This was a product from the prolific producer-director brother team of Neufeld/Newfield, the giants of the poverty row studio programmer pictures. Director Newfield cranked out 88 films in a seven-year period during one phase of his long career.
