A ho-hum crime film, FINGER MAN stars Lovejoy as a recidivist ex-convict captured by the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Lovejoy chooses to help the Feds put syndicate head Tucker in jail rather than spend time there himself. His lover, former mob moll Castle, tries to help Lovejoy, causing her own death and nearly eliminating him as well. In the end, the crooks get what's coming to them.
