McCoy gets tangled in some complicated identity changes and murder charges on an expedition into Mexico in search of an Indian burial ground. Wrongfully accused of being the murderer of the leader of the first expedition, he disguises himself as El Puma, a feared Mexican bandit, when a
second expedition arrives to continue the search. The leader of that expedition, Taylor, is knifed and the killer, Adams, blames it on El Puma. McCoy is accused of two murders. After a search for the relics and the murderer by McCoy, Adams, the sheriff, and his deputies, the killer is found and
justice is served. The usual fare is livened with some beautiful outdoor camerawork here.
