Set on the high seas, this film tells the story of a woman who drives a deep wedge between two good friends, Holt, an experienced older diver, and Cromwell, a student diver and protege of Holt. They are turned against one another when a fortune hunter, Sayers, marries Cromwell. Sayers then leaves Cromwell to run off with a rich yachtsman.
