With the inane chatter outweighing the inane sexual coupling, this sequel to the popular erotic video FEMALIEN (1996) miserably fails to follow the simple formula of its predecessor.
Kara (Venesa Talor), the original Femalien, was sent from a sexless planet in another galaxy to observe human mating behavior, but liked what she saw so much, she decided to stay. A year later, aliens Xeda (Bethany Lorraine) and Trion (Josh Edwards) land on Earth to track Kara down. Their arrival
is noted by Lester (Damian Wells), an amateur UFO-tracker. With his girlfriend Terry (Summer Leeds), he sets out to find them. Tracing Kara's movements, Xeda and Trion visit a restaurant where they spy on a beatnik poet and a waitress having sex in the storeroom. At a massage parlor, they meet
Kara's masseuse, Kiki (Debra Summers), and she joins the search. At a strip club, Trion enjoys the curvaceous sights, while Kiki performs a private show for Xeda. Each step of the way, Terry and Lester are a step behind them, and Terry keeps running into a mysterious Man in Black (Kurt Schwoebel).
Finally, Trion and Xeda try having sex together. They like it so much that they decide to follow Kara's lead and stay on Earth. Lester and Terry catch up to them, but decide to keep their secret and join the party. The Man in Black arrives on the scene and is revealed to be Kara, in a very good
disguise.
The original FEMALIEN (1996) gave viewers what they wanted--loads of sex with minimal plot to get in the way. FEMALIEN 2 tries to get cute with lots of chatter and filler, attempting to develop a storyline that merely gets in the way. Even worse is the intentional attempt to make the movie a
comedy of sorts. (Usually these films are comedies only unintentionally.) If there's to be a third installment of this saga, the FEMALIEN folks need to remember that wit is not the raison d'etre for these videos. And while they may have hot beds, the sets of soft-core flicks are not well known as
hotbeds of cleverness. The film was released on home video in two versions: a R-rated cut which runs 72 minutes, and an unrated version running 90 minutes. (Extensive nudity, sexual situations.) leave a comment
