Created by Otto Messmer in 1919, Felix the Cat starred in hundreds of cartoon shorts but never appeared in a feature until 1989, when Don Oriolo — whose father, animator Joe Oriolo, worked closely with Messmer for decades — wrote and produced this sci-fi adventure. Felix comes to the aid of Princess Oriana, who lives in another dimension and whose kingdom is threatened by the machinations of her evil uncle. He marshals a robot army, kidnaps Oriana and forced her to sing at the circus in Progress City, a once mighty metropolis that's fallen into ruin and decay. Felix and his bag of tricks save the day, eventually defeating the robot army and returning Oriana...
