This enjoyable, well-written comedy focuses on a young draftee with a special problem: Pvt. Floyd Hilston (Carleton Carpenter) has grown up with a lion, named Fagan, as his pet, and the strong bond between them is not easily broken. Not wanting to sell his pet to a cruel circus trainer, Hilston asks his sergeant (Keenan Wynn) to help him find Fagan a home.
