Holden, a tramp who would rather fish than work, is in cahoots with Winninger, owner of a medicine show. When the show goes out of business, Holden happily goes off to fish. His idyll is disrupted when five orphans adopt him and rehabilitate him into a hard-working man. Uninspired film
with a script heavy in sentimentality, and six musical numbers that aren't worth singing. Too mushy for words. Holden, six months later, appeared in the magnificent SUNSET BOULEVARD.
