Lukas steals a diamond cross from Connolly's church to impress Michael, whom he had met during a gambling raid. The priest goes on the trail and catches Lukas, who repents but eludes the police. Connolly is suspected by the police and church of losing his mind for forgiving the thief, but Lukas turns himself in to prove that Connolly was correct in trying to reform him. leave a comment
