Fast-Walking: Review

As a sideline, James Woods, a pot-smoking, sharp-shooting prison guard, solicits Johns for the whorehouse run by Susan Tyrrell. As the film progresses he finds himself caught in the middle when his cousin Tim McIntire plots the murder of a black militant prisoner who has offered Woods $50,000 to help him escape. Kay Lenz provides the love interest as a hired assassin. An extremely cynical film, FAST-WALKING is undermined by its obscure political and social overtones. leave a comment
