Haines, after two more B quickies following this, ended his career in films to become an internationally renowned interior decorator. Here he invents a new speedboat motor and gets the shipbuilder's daughter when his boat wins a big motor race that saves the father's company from bankruptcy. Some good boat races, but rather dull stuff. leave a comment
