This winning Capraesque romantic comedy stars Loretta Young as a SwedisThis winning Capraesque romantic comedy stars Loretta Young as a Swedish farmer's daughter who comes to Washington, DC, and becomes the maid for Congressman Joseph Cotten and his powerful mother Ethel Barrymore. Young is a good housekeeper, but an even better politician, and winds up as the rival party's candidate for Congress.
