False Rapture: Review

A classical story, which takes place in pre-war Russia, about a headwaiter who hides his profession from his daughter. She eventually discovers his presumably low line of work as he simultaneously makes the even more interesting discovery that his daughter is getting it on in one of the restaurant's private dining rooms with the moneybags who has promised to lend him the money he needs to purchase the premises. A technical embarrassment which is mercilessly slow. leave a comment
