Fade To Black

Eric Binford (Dennis Christopher), a lonely nerd who lives with his domineering aunt, retreats from his miserable existence into the wonderful world of movies--spending all his time in his bedroom, obsessively studying everything from B westerns to classic horror films. While on one of his rare jaunts outdoors, Eric meets and falls in love with a Marilyn Monroe look-alike (Linda Kerridge) and attempts to romance her. A combination of events--including being stood up by his love--cause Eric to finally crack, however, and he begins dressing up like his favorite movie heroes and killing people.
