Comedy aces Hope and Ball pair off in the picture as a suburban duo who leave their spouses and run into each other's arms. The bedroom-hopping, funny though it is, seems predictable. Eydie Gorme and Steve Lawrence belt a Johnny Mercer tune over Saul Bass' fine credits. The film was
nominated for Best Cinemtography, Best Screenplay, Best Art Direction, and Best Song "The Facts of Life" Oscars, and won an Academy Award for costumers Edith Head and Edward Stevenson.
