The Emperor Constantine is marching toward Rome to establish it as a Christian city, but those loyal to the old gods are stepping up their persecution of the Christians so there won't be any left when Constantine arrives. The plot, after translating and dubbing, doesn't make much sense,
but the film is filled with scenes of Christians being beheaded, burned at the stake, and thrown to the lions. Good performances by Morgan, as the daughter of a senator who supports the Christians, and by Vidal, as the gladiator and secret emissary of Constantine whom Morgan loves. The success of
