Extreme Measures

A pretty tight medical thriller that features all the usual suspects: High-handed senior physicians, overworked residents and nurses, beleaguered administrators, and patients who should consider themselves lucky every time they come in to the hospital with an infected toenail and don't go out in a coma. Hugh Grant is the brilliant Dr. Guy Luthan, who's doing his residency at New York's chaotic Gramercy Hospital.
