Exterminator II

A very bad sequel to the equally bad THE EXTERMINATOR (1980) sees Ginty return as the ultraviolent Vietnam veteran who has gotten fed up with the sickos in society. The "plot" sees a gang leader with delusions of grandeur, "X" (Van Peebles), leading his sadistic followers through the streets of New York City torturing and murdering anything in their path. When Eastland's girlfriend (Geffner) falls victim to the gang, the vet reaches for his welding mask and flame thrower, and he hits the bricks in hot pursuit. This is a totally repugnant film that parades acts of mindless violence on top of more mindless violence to illustrate some sort of moral dilemma of our time...
